Closera is a sales and customer-messaging service operated by Amren Ventures, Al Nahda 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data Closera processes, why, and the choices people have. It applies to our customers (businesses that use Closera and their staff) and to the people those businesses communicate with through Closera (“end customers”).
1. Our role
For data about end customers (for example a person who sends a WhatsApp message to a business), the business using Closera decides how that data is used and is the controller; we process it on the business’s behalf. For account data of our own customers, we are the controller.
2. Data we process
- Account data: name, email, phone (optional), password hash, language, sign-in and security records.
- End-customer data: name, phone number, email, messages (text, voice notes, images and files) exchanged with the business, enquiry details such as budget or timeline the person chose to share, and source information (for example which ad or form they came from).
- Business content: price lists, FAQs, policies and other documents a business uploads.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and logs needed to run and secure the service.
3. Why we use it
- To deliver the service: receive and send WhatsApp messages and emails, organise leads, schedule follow-ups and meetings.
- To generate AI-assisted replies, summaries and lead scores for the business, using only that business’s approved information.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, provide support and meet legal obligations.
- To bill our customers.
We do not sell personal data and do not use end-customer messages to train AI models.
4. Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run Closera, under contracts that protect it:
- Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage, Mumbai region, India).
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform and Facebook/Instagram lead forms).
- Anthropic (AI processing of conversations to draft replies and summaries).
- Resend (transactional email).
- Stripe (payments, if enabled) and, where a business connects them, Google or Microsoft calendars.
Some of these providers process data outside the United Arab Emirates. We use them only with appropriate safeguards as required by UAE law.
5. Retention
End-customer data is kept while the business keeps its Closera account or until the business deletes it. Account data is kept while the account is active and for a limited period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Backups are kept for up to 14 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, or ask for a copy. People who stop wishing to receive messages can reply STOP at any time.
7. How to request deletion of your data
If you contacted a business through Closera, you can ask that business to delete your data; businesses can export and permanently erase a person’s data from Closera. You can also email digital.amren@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion” and the phone number or email you used. We will confirm your identity and complete the request, or pass it to the business responsible, within 30 days.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, each business’s data is isolated in the database, access tokens are encrypted at rest, and staff accounts support two-step sign-in.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will show the new date above. Questions: digital.amren@gmail.com.
